The challenge
A hospital site serves people at very different moments: someone booking a check-up, a patient in treatment, a relative looking for visiting hours, a patient travelling from abroad. With this many departments and services, the risk was a site that lists everything and helps no one.
The hospital also needed to show what sets it apart, such as robotic surgery and modern radiotherapy equipment, without burying the practical information patients come for.
What we did
- Put the most common tasks first: booking an appointment, checking test results online and finding a doctor or specialist, all reachable from the header.
- Built an information architecture that groups every clinic, department and service in a navigation patients can scan, with the oncology centre as its own destination.
- Gave flagship treatments such as robotic surgery a hero slot the hospital manages itself.
- Wrote clear pages for patients: first visit, admission, hospital stay, visiting, insurance and national health fund questions.
- Added medical tourism, clinical trials, news and a bilingual Bulgarian and English site.

The outcome
A calm, trustworthy site for a large hospital, where patients reach the one thing they came for in a click and the team keeps news, doctors and departments up to date themselves.
